Sounds City - stories about & around the city (first edition)

Sounds City has allowed me to carve out new ways of looking and perceiving. It has been a privilege to get a glimpse of some of the most amazing minds of creatives making important, inspiring & beautiful work in different spheres.

What started out as a tiny experiment to test out ideas of cosmopolitanism ended up as a true passion project challenging notions of authorship. Through having these conversations on our own terms, we’re reinforcing the principle of publication as representation & democratising diverse & authentic voices.

Here is the most heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the project.

We’re closing off the first edition with special thanks to all of you who responded to my request with encouraging generosity of your time, thoughts and energy.
